Do termites eat stucco?

We have been told the "tunnel-like" mud structures on the outside of the house, which is painted stucco, are from termites. I think they're from wasps. They appear to be completely external.

Answers:

1No they say it doesn't have that zesty spicey taste they like so much, sprinkle some taco salsa on it and they'll love ya for it.
