Excessive Stucco Cracks on Exterior of New Home

Sir,
My question is how can a subcontractor repair excessive horizontal and vertical cracks throughout the exterior structure of a newly constructed home where the cracks will be repaired and not resurface. I noticed during the base coat application that as it dried, there were excessive horizontal and vertical cracks throughout the Sante Fe style exterior. How can I be confident that these areas will be correctly fixed?
