I just completed many cinder-block columns around my property for the foundations of stucco posts that i desire for my fence.

When I apply the stucco finish, must I create three layers of build up or may I just apply one thin coat for the textured ?

1 layer of morter but you need to spray water on the blocks ,so not to suck all water out of the textured
