do I have to have weep holes in stucco? | |
I have a home for sale and the inspector has told the potential buyers that there is a major problem with the house because there aren't any weep holes in the stucco. The stucco was properly installed with wire and a scratch coat, the house remained a shell for several years and I have never seen any moisture in the house. Recently the house was completed and another layer of stucco was applied and painted. The inspector is teeling me that it will have to be redone because there isn't any weep holes, is this true? If so does it alll have to come down and sart over. Thank-you
