Stucco Texture

One of the greatest things about stucco is that it is easily handled – though you are not recommended to apply stucco to larger areas such as exterior walls by yourself but with the help of a professional, the ways and patterns to use when applying stucco on your walls are countless.

This is where the texture of the stucco comes in. There are various textures and each and every one of these types have different characteristics. The consistence varies from heavier and firmer mixtures to lighter and easier to apply mixtures. The stucco in different textures is usually already mixed together and sold at your building material stores or by construction companies who provide the service of finishing the exterior walls with stucco siding.

Some stucco textures are already of such the desired colour and painting the siding is not needed at all.

Depending on the texture, different tools and techniques are used when applying the stucco to create a patterned finish. The different patterns used have special titles you can get acquainted with in relevant stores or by contacting relevant experts who have samples of the different patterns and techniques used that will give you a clear picture of the possibilities to apply stucco and how it really looks.
